Also is this car near martinsville

Yes the car is near Martinsville, and I have been looking into what Moates offers (as I have previously mentioned) but this does not solve the software issue which it looks like it is going to be Nistune. I have an XDF file for tunerpro, but with the setup on the car, I would feel much better with something a bit more thorough with integrated datalogging and such.

Btw Bugermass, I looked at the ECU and it looks the same as what Nistune has for the type 3 board as per this link:

http://www.nistune.com/docs/NIStune_Type_3_Hardware_Install_Sheet.pdf

it has the 20+20 through hole section.

Thanks for the help everyone

ok. yeah we keep those in stock.. Lemme chk the price tommorrow and I'll let you know.

I made a new calibration and copied all the values out of my old one. I have not had the same issue since then. I am wondering if my problem could be associated with licensing. I did not have the problem with my calibration file until I got a new license for my new laptop.

I have noticed what I think is a new problem though. I don't know if it could be related though. Mostly under light throttle while cruising, the engine will run rich for no apparent reason. Further investigation shows a slight increase in injector duration, and spikes of reduced ignition timing during this event.

Has any one seen this before?

Its not a h23 head. The motor is 100% f22b dohc. I used to use a h23 head on this block. You have to fill part of the head with grey rtv to make it seal. After a while it started leaking on me though. If you want to find swap guides to tell you step by step how to put a h23 head on a f22 check out cb7tuner.com, there are many threads on it there.

For your goals the head you have now is fine. I would recommend getting a f22a head if you want to get something better. They flow wonderfully and are pretty cheep. It also matches your block.

I was thinking faulty map as well and then I tried an OEM one, but I guess I cant verify that it is in good working order, so maybe thats it.

I will try AlphaN. I am out of town for a week and I will see what I can find out.
Also if your not hitting f11 or clicking on the overlay selector on your tables, you wont see the data AFR overlay.
