I have mine running off the A/C input/output. The secondary maps activate instantly with the gop.The tps should be set to 97%, The demands to launch the nos are 4000 rpm, coolant and air temp at warmed up values And you have to graph the mbar you pulling at wide open throttle. Absolutley no problems with delay or overlap.

You know about the ~200-400 rpm variance with revlimit? I apply that potential issue to anything relying on rpm for activation. Aside from the fact that a microprocessor processes one thing at a time vs simultaneously. Especially when it comes to NOS and other sensitive power adders.

Let's say the gpo routine sees x rpm, and when the second process runs the rom could have varied...

You need to look up the power distribution diagram for that fuse, and cut the bad splice that is grounding it out.

Sounds like they spliced into the ground side of the distribution without installing a voltage blocking diode.

This is the kind of diagnostics I do for a living every day, crappy part is I usually need to be at the vehicle itself.
I did exact same thing, but resistance is about same so you dont know if wiring is right, only that there is something

Correct. You can ohm the pickup, but the signal is the important part and the only way to check it is with an oscilloscope (lab scope)

                                      Hi,

I have a Accord Type R, with a h22a7 obd2b, i really want to get eCtune but i obviously need to convert to obd1 and p28,30,08 ecu.

If you could tell me what i need to do in order to complete this i'd be more than grateful, i have read that i need a new dizzy a 2 wire iacv and some re-wiring for the harness to work (the obd2b - obd1 conversion harness).
This is what i need the help with.
Anyway if anyone could shed light and possibly provide a base map for ectune i would be grateful.
Regards,

But got all the licensing stuff figured out got my laptop to connect to my ostrich2, but when I try and create a basemap I get the window that pops up and says uploading data to emulator with the little green bar that runs all the way and when it gets to the end I get. A box that pops up and says (I have attached a pic of the screen shot)
i honestly would say get yourself a JIS rebuild kit (available on ebay). I use them on all of my rebuilds... you even get the gaskets for the timing belt dust covers =)

I would say its reliable if you do the work right (proper hone, ring gap adjusted for turbo application, and measurement of main/rod bearings to be sure custom sized aren't needed.

Can you give me a few tips to properly hone the block and how to adjust ring gap etc
