In the wiki mentioned above it shows you how to turn the o2 input into a true 5v input. Then your good to wire it up. If you use it without the 5v mod, you only see up to a certain afr (wherever afr the uego ends when at 3.35v)

As far as the uego not outputting correctly all the time I can't help you there.

But it's a simple modification to make the o2 input a. 0-5v input for connecting to.

Leadless flux core, electronics grade; usually on the very thin side for quantity control and nice clean solder joints. The stuff I got last time is a typical resistor lead size.

Haha! Very nice, plan to see this baby running. Keep us updated on the build. I just started my thing up yesterday sounds like a beast with that extra Piston to wall clearance that I have setup for a highway weekend monster. Then again, JE's are known for their noise nuisance and disrespected for their piston slap.

Just make sure go about measuring every single thing possible inside that GSR power house of yours.

Using a Fowler Dial Bore Gauge I found very respectful in my case, and didn't run into that many walls when building my motor. It's my 3rd rebuild on my own so far.

If using Plasti Gage, make sure that this type of clearance checking method is a double check type of strategy. After you have made sure your clearance on the Dial Bore Gauge is measured with complete accuracy.

Yes I am pretty sure there is a signal ground wire that comes straight out of the UEGO. Because of the fact when I was wiring the thing up to my car, I only connected the red and black wire to power up the "display" for the o2 sensor itself. Just to make sure the connection was secure, and the product held its function. But I never knew they ran like that, I thought it was only through one wire Display/Output towards ECU. Anyways, now it makes perfect sense.

As soon as I get more time tomorrow to fire up the car, and start tuning for my first time I will make sure that the Analog output wire off the UEGO goes to that Pin.

I had the car running yesterday on my old b16 basemap external ROM that was hooked up to the obd1 p28 that I have in my EK. The AFR's were a little high when it reached operating temperature, but that's probably because of the fact the ECU wasn't receiving any feedback from the O2's. Good thing I have read this book before I started getting my feet wet with this type of stuff, hence this pre-study I did on EFI tuning will hold a boundary line between risky damage and my motor.

Essentially, more than 100% confidence is what I see in my perspective.

When did you originally request yours Jared? Just wondering on what your time frame was. It's been 4 weeks for me now.

thats close to the timeframe when I have received mine.

one year it took almost 3 months; but Calvin went though some medical issues.

Your experience has pretty much mirrored mine then, but I sent Calvin another email earlier, just to give it one more try, and he got back to me almost right away. He said he was going to look into it tomorrow. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

*Drumroll*..... and NOTHING AGAIN, contrary to what he said yesterday. *sigh*
